The flagship
MicKit Perform 16 is what you rent when the show is going to be filmed. It’s 16 coordinated channels of the best digital wireless on the market, housed in a 6U shock rack with four modular 1U quad receiver racks cascaded in pairs (each pair shares a 1/2 wave antenna pair — two antenna pairs total for 16 channels, no external distro required, one less thing to break). We coordinate the frequencies against FCC band plans and your venue’s local RF environment before the kit leaves our shop, we label every channel on a printed map, and we include four spare elements for the run. This is the kit that shows up to Into the Woods Jr. at a 1,200-seat performing arts center or to a 2,000-person sales kickoff in a Marriott ballroom. It’s the kit the house LD will look at and nod at.

Brand selector
Shure SLX-D+ or Sennheiser EW-DX at checkout. Shure is the default. Sennheiser adds $400/wk on Perform 16 because the build uses eight EW-DX EM2 dual receivers plus paired ASA 214 antenna combiners to hit 16 channels, vs four Shure SLXD4Q+ quad racks that cascade on half-wave antennas alone. Significantly more rack space and more components on the Sennheiser side — the surcharge covers the real dealer-cost delta. Shure is the default. We RF-coordinate the chosen brand for your specific venue and dates.
What’s in the rack
- Shure build: 4x Shure SLXD4Q+ quad receiver racks (cascaded in pairs — two 8-channel cascade groups, each sharing a 1/2 wave antenna pair) + 16x SLXD1+ bodypack transmitters
- Sennheiser build (+$400/wk): 8x Sennheiser EW-DX EM2 dual receivers + paired ASA 214 antenna combiners + 16x EW-DX SK bodypack transmitters
- 16x Point Source Audio CO-6 earsets or CO-8WL waterproof lavaliers (choose one type)
